PRESS RELEASE
Ref : 271023
Released : 27th October 2023
Air Vanuatu has acquired an additional Twin Otter Aircraft which will be arriving into the country this week. The additional aircraft will help support the Airline’s plans to strengthen domestic services to meet demand for travel within Vanuatu. This demand will only increase with the holidays approaching as more families gather to celebrate the holiday season.
To meet the expanded domestic flight schedule Air Vanuatu has signed a three year lease with an option to purchase the twin otter aircraft from Air Tuvalu. The aircraft will be used to add extra flights to the high demand domestic routes.
“We are doing all we can to service the growing demand for flights and recognise the importance of connecting our communities and this includes people, business travellers and cargo” says acting Chief Executive Officer Mr. Laloyer.
As we approach the holiday season, people wishing to travel domestically are reminded to book early while there are seats available. Bookings can be made via www.airvanautu.com or by calling 23838.
